~ The late Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
We know through uBuntu, that we all have the potential for growth and development. That we are all special and equally deserving of dignity and respect.
We are all carriers of the seed of Oneness and of Greatness. Together with Nature and the Environment and the Greater Cosmos, we are all evolving… all in the process of becoming our highest potential.
However,
We need to develop more and more people that as Archbishop Desmond Tutu says, ‘are recognised for their uBuntu.’ We need people of excellence with a heart for uBuntu and the desire to let is grow within themselves and the world.
People who accept and carry the Torch/Light of uBuntu.
Who are the sowers of the SEEDS of uBuntu
The people of Africa have always had the greatest respect for the Dung Beetle. In ancient Egypt, the dung beetle is known as ‘Kheper,’ with the verb meaning: to come into being, to change, to develop, to occur, to bring about, to create, etc. It represents self-generation and self-renewal.
The dung beetle is also respected for its ability to detect its path through the light of the sun during the day, and as it is reflected through the Milky Way during the night. With this, the dung beetle is also seen as a symbol for the sun or light. The dung beetle is also respected for its role in breaking down and the recycling of waste in the environment. As such it is associated with the continuous cycle of life and of death, and the underlying balance in nature.
Like the dung beetle, we are always pulled by our highest potential – to be the best we can be. Looking at the dung beetle we recognise many aspects of uBuntu, and the person of excellence.
